Polybion contains Vitamin B-complex
By triptibaby onVitamin B-complex is one of the essential vitamins that physicians generally prescribe with a doze of antibiotics. Moreover, the vitamin can also be prescribed for general health of an individual. I have been prescribe this Polybion syrup in relation to my pregnancy and am continuing this with other medications that are prescribed to me. The syrup is available in different sizes in plastic bottles and the one I am using is of 250 ml.
Composition: (as given in the label) for each 5 ml of the content:
Thiamine HCl (IP)2mg
Riboflavin Na Phosphate (IP)2.5mg
Pyridoxine HCl (IP)0.75mg
Nicotinamide (IP)15mg
D-Panthenol (IP)3mg
Cyanocobalamin (IP)2mcg
Sorbitol Solution (70%) q.s.
The syrup appears to be light green in color, better to say yellow fluorescent in color, with thick consistency, and somewhat sweet flavor. Though the medium used in the syrup is sorbitol, the syrup tastes a bit sweet. I like to take my prescribed doze of 2 tea spoon full (approximately 10 ml) after my days meal.
My experience:
I could feel some improvement in my energy level and the pregnancy weakness is somewhat subsided. I do not have any adverse reactions from the medicine so far and never hard anyone of saying to have allergies or any adverse reactions either.
Bottom line:
As per my opinion, this is a medicine that can be used, if prescribed by the physician, as one won't find much difficulty with its flavor while taking it. Moreover, it is quite effective for health.

I haven't tried this particular name brand, but I also found that a B Vitamin Complex gave me increased energy!
