I have very dry skin. I went to the dermatologist to see what they could do for me. They told me that I have Eczema which is annoying. This causes my skin to be very dry all the time. They gave me prescriptions for topical creams to use but they didn't provide much help for me. So again I went to Publix to see what they had to offer. I found Pond's Dry Skin Cream. This cream is thick and rich with hydrating ingredients such as mineral oil. It left my skin feeling softer and smoother than ever before. It also adds a subtle shine to your skin. It is just the right amount, shiny and glowy but not greasy. The lotion absorbs right into your skin for hours of moisturized skin! This lotion is hypoallergenic, doesn't clog pores, and is gentle enough to use on sensative skin. You can even use it as a base before you apply your make up. I did that infact just to see how it looked and my make up look more radiant than ever! This cream isn't expensive and won't disappoint you. My mom and I used to use this and it does hydrate really well but beware of mineral oil. Read up on it because there is research that mineral oil is very bad for your body. I try to stick with organic stuff for my skin.
I love this moisturizer, i always go back to this if i stray. And you are absolutely right, it does add a glow to your skin and make your makeup go on smoothly, great makeup base for five dollars rather than the silicone makeup bases that cause acne and sell anywhere from$20.00 and up! Also great for hands and rubbing into cuticles, or even removing makeup!
I use this cream and it is my favorite, nothing works for my skin like this cream, you are right it is cheap about $5-$6 for a HUGE tub, I use it everyday and night and I don't have to buy another jar for 6 months!! And if you go to Walmart, you can often find that they have a buy one get one free sale on this cream, so I end up getting two tubs for the price of one and I am set for a whole year! Love, Love this stuff!!
