Pool frog really croaks!

We bought the pool frog when we first bought our pool, as it was recommended by our pool supplier.It seemed like a great way to keep the pool clean with less work.But we have not found it to be any better than using regular chemicals.

The pool frog cartridge is installed on your filter system with no additional plumbing needed.The cartridge is where you place the replaceable chemical cartridges.There are three parts to the system. The first is the Mineral Reservoir, this lasts the entire season, or every six months if you use your pool year round. The Frog Bam cartridge is for algea control and is placed inside the mineral reservoir for 90 minutes to circulate through the pool and then removed. After the Bam is removed you insert the Bac Pac inside the mineral reservoir for chlorine control.The tablets in the Bac Pac last a couple of weeks depending on the amount of time you run your filtering system.

This is an easy way to use chemicals in your pool, but it just didn't stop us from having cloudy or green water.You still have to do testing and try to figure out what is wrong.The initial cost of $225 is a little high for something that didn't work that well for us, and the refills are not cheap either.
