I purchased this turtle for my patio. It is ceramic and I do like it very much. It has a beautiful turtle shell. It is shiny with varigated browns and blacks. It is perfect to accent any walkway, patio, or garden. It is easy to clean and shine back up. I have bought two. I like placing the pair near each other. These turtles can be placed in the home or outside. They would be perfect next to any fish pond. They have a polished glazed finish.I just thought they were really cute and the price was right. I have had them for a year and they still look new. They are a great value for the price. They can be placed on logs, stones, and in many different ways. I like to have mine next to my flowers. It really adds to the outside decor. They would also look great under lights, or in a well lit area for nighttime viewing. They would also look very nice with rabbits, and other little creatures that you may display. I like these better because they do maintain the shine.
