Porsche Carrera Gt: Best Porsche Ever? By immaloser45 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

INTRODUCTION

Ahh. The 2004 Porsche Carrera GT. It is one of my favorite exotics, and my favorite Porsche. This Porsche wasn't that popular, since it was the expensivest Porsche at the time. Many thought that they should have just gotten a Lamborghini Murcielago or a Ferrari. There were only 1270 Carrera GT's built. It was a mid-engined 2-door roadster. Its transmision is a 6-speed manual.

MY OPINIONS

At first glance, you have to admit that it is possibly the best looking Porsche, or maybe even best looking exotic out there in the market today. I think it was a bad move though, since they had the price tag too high up for a Porsche. Because of that move, a lot of these cars, still, are in the dealership. But the lucky few who got them, must be loving them. Since the car was released in 2004, the dealerships are trying to sell them by knocking off nearly 70% at some cases!

SPECIFICATIONS

The Carrera GT only comes in one body style, 2-Door Roadster. It has a 5.7 litre V-10 that pumps out a massive 558 brake horse power. Porsche claims it will go 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.

Final Score

9.5/10

It would have recieved a 10 if it wouldn't have been for its massive launch price of $440,000 and a delivery price upto $5,000!
