Portal is one of the 5 games included in the Orange Box. The game begins as your character, Chell, wakes up in a strange room. A bizzare computer voice informs you that you are being tested for the enigmatic Aperture Science labs. A portal opens up in your cell and you arelet out into the facility proper. You are then put through a few tests where you need to walk through portals, then get a gun that can create one portal that interacts with a static potal, and then finally you get a gun that can create 2 portals you can walk through on walls. This is hard to put into words, go find a trailer for it. Anyway, the gamplay is a bizzare hybrid of puzzle and FPS with fantastic writing by the creators of the game website Old Man Murray and in general a darkly humorous tone. Go buy it immediately! It's also a little short, but you can replay it with Developers Commentary and there are advanced bonus maps.
