Portal Portal Review By PokeJoe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Portal was recently released packaged in with the Orange Box and also available on it's own. It's a first person puzzle game, where you use a gun of sorts to create portals to pass from one area to the next. You pass through a series of "test" chanbers, all getting progressively more diffucult and introducing a new game mechanic, such as portal jumping. The primary complaint of many people is that the game is too short, but I find that if it would have been much longer the story would have begun to get stale. It's only a few hours long, but it's all gameplay and stays entertaining throughout. It has several challange modes to complete after you finish the main story, and contains a lot of dry humor that fits in very well with the story and overall game, It's an interesting and entertaining experience from beginning to end.
