Portal Portal Review By Alex71 By Alex71 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
What can I say? It's Portal. As soon as I opened up the box, I was in love with Portal. This game offers an awesome storyline following fantastic gameplay. The graphics are great for a game such as this, which can run on almost any computer. I have but a mere 1.8 GHz processor, only 1 gig of DDR-400 RAM, and an nVidia GeForce 6600, and I can run everything on full, even AA and AF. I usually get around 20-70 FPS at around 35 average. It just depends which scene I am in. Back to the game. As you travel through the game with your trusty Weighted Companion Cube, you shall face many puzzles that can tease your brain and make you think. With GLaDOS always taunting you, you must be wary of every situation you may be in.
The storyline. You are a female silent-protagonist named Chell, and you are led through a series of "test chambers" by a robot named GLaDOS. In this Enrichment Center, you will find that it is just you, your Companion Cube, and GLaDOS. The rest is for you to find out! Also, I highly suggest you play the Half-Life series in order to understand it first, though.
Remember, the cake is a lie!
