this boarders with being action/adventure/fps/puzzle. your tool in this game is a gun that shoots 'portals'. you use these portals to get from point A to point B, access hard to reach areas, and gain momentum by falling/shooting yourself out of them. it has alot of valve's sense of humor throughout it.

my2 complaints of the game are it's too short, and it's too easy. at least shorter and easier than i had been expecting. nonetheless i enjoyed it. and getting to hear that song during the ending sequence made it worth it.

i still have bonus maps to complete, so i may be wrong about the difficulty. the story mode was just simple. i've sure theres plenty of more fun to squeeze out by trying to unlock other achievments. the cake was delicious by the way.
