Post it notes were invented in 1977 by 3M. Post it notes are so handy. I absolutely love these. You write on them and then stick them anywhere to remind you of things to do. You can use them to mark a place in a book leaving a little note about what your reading or to mark an assignment for school about how many pages to read. These sticky notes have numerous uses. They even make narrow Post its called Post it Tabs or Post it Flags so you can color code things with them or use them as book marks. They also now make Post its in a notecard format.
Post its originally came in 3 inch yellow squares but now they come in a variety of colors and sizes. They even make them in fun shapes like stars and hearts.They also make dispensers to hold Post it notes.
3M has even branched out to make a photo paper that is sticky so you can post pictures anywhere and there is even a computer software by 3M Post it Software Notes.
Post its are an everyday item that I use a lot and I love them.
