Post War By M. Ward By dmk417 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

M. Ward is one of those performers that makes me feel kind of giddy and happy when I hear a song by them. Not because they are at all silly, but because it is just such great music that no matter your mood, you are about to be cheered up. Isn't that what great music should do? Genre in this case, is difficult to place, and really quite irrelevent. Indie-music lovers and the mainstream may finally be united in a love for music with M. Ward Post-War. This record is truly diverse, and I never find myself bored, no matter how many times I play this album. I find the music at the same time soothing and upbeat. Check out the guest appearances and you will know that this is real talent. Warning: You may find that you are dancing around your house in your socks and underwear in a blissful state while this record is on heavy rotation in your cd player.
