Pottery Barn Bargains By Lena Christine on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

My quest for the perfect bedding for the bedrooms in my home seem never ending. I have purchased countless sets only to have them unravel at the seams after a couple of washes or the fabric to peel so bad they look as if they are 10 years old. I finally broke down and visited Pottery Barn and paid double what I normally would for bedding at Walmart. I can tell you, I am glad that I did. My Pottery Barn bedding sets have been the last sets I have purchased in the past 3 years. They still look new! Like most comforter sets though they are big and bulky and hard to wash. Thankfully laundry mats now days have washers big enough to accomodate them. No threads have came unraveled and the fabric has not peeled the least little bit even after countless amounts of washing. They are pretty good at repelling stains as well. All the marker, paint and ink pen stains my children have left behind have always lifted right out with no trace they were ever there. For me, that is a big plus!

They are more expensive - but you get what you pay for many times. I've found the towels I spent more money on have lasted and lasted.
