Potty 'N Step Stool
By godfrey884 onWhen it times to get you baby/toddler out of diapers and going on the potty can be an exciting but stressful time, so we all try to make the transition as easy as possible.
When that time came for my oldest daughter, we wanted a potty that was not going to be a distraction with toys and bells and sirens or cute pictures to make her think that the potty was a play area.
We decided on the Safety 1st Potty 'N Step stool,It is a very basic potty, with a lid, it just sits on the floor, there is little rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slipping, it has 2 little handles that your child can use to assist in sitting and standing from the potty, very easy to access collection cup, just lift the seat and the cup is easy to remove and clean, the seat itself can be used on any regular toilet seat as a trainer, and the base then becomes the step stool, (it also has the deflector shield for boys, I have not had to use this part yet, as I have 2 girls using the potty)
I think this potty seat has proved to be a great product as I havetwo little ones that are using it for the past 9 months, and I haven't had any problems and the plus of it all is it will grow with them to the larger toilet when that time comes.

Love Safety 1st products! That is very smart to not have things around to distract the girls from the potty & to just have a basic potty!
I had the same Potty for my girls and it held up very well.
We used this potty for our oldest son - he loved it. Thanks for sharing.
This sounds like a great potty seat. I like that fact that they can use it as a step stool and that it can be used on the toilet. Two great features.
Sounds like a great potty chair. My daughter could use this when Jordan is ready for the potty. I will be telling her about this potty chair. Thanks for sharing the information.
Sounds like a great potty chair. I like the safety handles.
We are potty training right now and I've been looking for a potty chair. I'm going to have to find this one. I like the fact that it can be used as a step stool too. That's great!
My oldest boy potty trained at 3. We used Safety First and it worked beautifully. We placed a pair of big boy underwear nearby and that did it. He refused to use the sitdown, but went right to climbing up like daddy did.
We used the Safety First to train my son too! We also wanted something simple to keep potty training simple, we didn't want any fancy potty chairs. This one came in great and the step stool was perfect so he could reach up to the sink to brush his teeth
