Potty Time
By donnabc onWhen I was potty training my son, I think I must have read every potty book there was on the market.This is one of the books that I actually purchased and used with my son.
It is bright and colorful with a very short sentence on each page.Not only does it introduce the potty to a child, but it tells a little story as well.It starts out with the baby pointing out that the dog and his / her bunny do not wear diapers.Then it goes on to talk about how diapers get in the way of playing and smell bad.Then the baby gets his / her potty and uses it to make sand castles, as a boat, and a flower pot.Finally, at the end he / she finally determines what the potty is for.
It's a cute, short and funny story.My son always got a kick out of the stuff that the baby did with the potty.And the bright, simple pictures held his attention well.I also thought it was great the way they made the book non-gender related.It would work for either a boy or a girl.

Sounds like a great little helper...I used a doll with my oldest daughter, at the time someone told me about it and she was trained in one day...my youngest daughter was as well...my boys however took a little longer than that :) Great idea....thanks for the info
Usborne books are great. We own several and they are good quality.
