A potty chair hunting we will go! My little grandson was ready for a potty chair so we bought him this Go Diego Go potty chair as he knows Diego. We figured he would use the potty more if it had something familiar on it for him. We did not get one with music etc, as we thought it would be too distracting.

There are as many different potty chairs out there are there are different makes of automobiles! There are plain ones and others with lots of bells and whistles as my husband puts it. This chair is plain blue with a sticker of Diego on the back of the chair. Just enough decor that he likes to look at. That is about the only thing that we like about this chair.

The potty chair has a detachable potty seat that can fit all types of toilets including those elongated styles. What I do not like about this chair is that the seat does not lock onto the base at all. It wobbles all over the place which makes the collector bowl move all over. There can be a mess if you do not watch out. He is doing well using it but we need one that latches to the bottom. You can also use the base as a step stool for use at the sink later on when training is over. we are not there yet but I do not think I would trust it that way.

I am not at all pleased with this potty chair and I would not in all good conscience recommend it to others. My grandson doesn't even look at Diego when using it. I believe this was a total waste of money!

Thanks for your comment. Yes, they are not worth all the fancy attachments and decals. I had cheap plastic ones for all four of my children and they worked out just fine! If I misses voting for you please let me know and I will do so. Thanks Geri

eww.. I do not blame you! If the seat it loose like that the child can topple over and get injured..not a good design at all :(

It's too bad Diego didn't work out. The manufacturers need to think "Safety First!"

My daughter will be looking for a potty chair for my grandson. Thanks for sharing this useful information. We know to stay away from this type of potty chair.

I'm glad we didn't get sucked in by Diego! This potty chair sounds like it could be a real mess.
