Power Half Hour Series
By Phoebe onThis is a great series of 5 30-minute workouts.Each one is targeted towards one body area - Thighs, Abs, Buns, Arms, and a Strethc workout as well.It was created by and taught by Tony Horton.
The workouts are fast paced to get a cardio effect going, but the Tony is always reminding you to go at your own pace, not to try and match the videos.The Ab workout is a mix of standing and floor exercises, the Arm used either free weights or resistance bands, and the thigh and bun has a few moves that require the use of a chair.
It is a great way to get a calorie blast and great strength training in just 30 minutes - do one, two, or more a day depending on your fitness goals or what area you want to target.
The DVD/video set comes with a manual that lists some example rotations for people who want to target certain areas of the body - there is a lower body rotation, an upper body rotation, an ab rotation, etc.
It is a great series, and 5 workouts for $40 is not a bad deal!
I have been extremely happy with this workout set, and use it in rotation with the other workouts I do during the week.I have used just this set without any other workouts combined, and the results have been great!
