One thing this product have a ot of -- Power! The Sunbeam 6629 10 speed is a product that has all the characteristics that you'd look for in a blender - durably built, solid pitcher, powerful motor and a very affordable price. I have been used this sparingle for the last 3 years and still it hasn't failed me yet. Generally this blender is a little lighter than most blender, another plus for this product.

Control panel has 5 settings to choose from;

1.Grate - To Stir

2.Blend - To Puree

3.Grind - To Chop

4.Liquify - To Whip

5.Ice crush - To Mix

It has a high and Low option for each setting. Why I say this product is powerful? Honestly, for everything that I have done with this blender I have always just used one setting - Blend at low setting! Even crushing ice! It was just my laziness that I have done that but why should I bother? It always gets the job done. When I make my fruit shakes I always use cubed ice and not crushed and still this machine doesn't mind at all. In 15-20 seconds all those rock hard ice are gone!Using this product is a no-brainer. A pretty straight forward product in usability.

Another amazing thing, the pitcher it comes with is made of plastic. It is standard in thickness and after all the punishment it had gone through all this time there is no crack or any blemish at all. Since its plastic, it is also lighter compared to glass pitchers of some blenders.I may be pushing this blender too much, but I just can't blame myself. After using it, it seems to tell me "Is that the best you could do?" I may be a little too biased to this machine, but this wonder blender is too deceiving. Design and look is conservative, it has a small base, pitcher is plastic and lightweight. But don't let that fool you, if functionality and durability is measured this machine will hold it's own. For the $35.00, it was indeed a still for me!
