Power Plus Swing By umm86 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This swing is nice as far a saving money on batteries. I no longer have to spening money. No more late trips to the store for batteries. This nifty swing can be plugged in to the wall. But i have noticed that the swing does not work like it is suppose to. First off it has 6 speed settings and 3 volume setting. (plays music to). It makes no difference what setting I have the swing on it only swing at one speed. The volume has a mind of it own. Sometimes when I have it set to low it play high. Or if I have it set to high it plays low. I have called fisher price about the swing, cause my baby was still small and the swings suppose to hold up to 25 lbs. I had only had the swing about a month. Well when i did call they asked no question (good customer service) and sent me out a new motor. I was happy til I found out that it was a whole different color lol.My swing does not match anymore. And the problem i had with the first motor I have with the new one. I normally keep the volume off now ( i don't care for the song choice anyways)and I don't let the swing speeds bother me. Even with all that being said i would buy this swing again if i had to.

Strange that you can't change the speeds. I didn't know they made one that you could plug in.
I have the same swing for my son, and I have never had any problems with it.
I love the fact that you can plug it in!
This sounds handier than the old ones that you had to wind them to get them to swing and then go back about 5 10 minutes later and wind it again lol
