Pre Lit Christmas Trees Make Decorating Easy By Alexsandralyn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Every year, I keep thinking that I need a new Christmas tree, and every year, I keep putting it off, making my old artificial tree last for just another holiday season. But not this year. Kmart has three of their 6.5' tall Trim A Home pre-lit pine trees on sale this week for half price, and that's the perfect height that I need for my low 7.5' ceiling. The base is much wider than my old tree, too, at 55" in diameter to give the tree a very full look.

The Trim A Home pre-lit Franklin pine tree was very easy to assemble. There were four separate pieces in the box: the tree stand, the base of the tree, the middle of the tree, and the top of the tree. The branches are hinged to the center pole and fold down. There are 1,451 branch tips and 600 Never Out lights, which means that if one bulb burns out, it won't take the entire string with it. It took me about an hour and a half to finish assembling the tree and spreading out all of the individual branch tips. The box came with plenty of extra bulbs and fuses, too, in case some burn out.

I'm very happy with the Trim A Home pre-lit Franklin pine tree. That was really worth the money I paid for it, and I expect to enjoy it for many years to come.
