Pre Wash Illusions By ange on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Worn in jeans and a t-shirt would be my ideal everyday outfit. The only problem is jeans don't fit me. Growing up, I was always tall and slender and I could never find jeans long enough. I'm kind of specific about my pants, because I refuse to wear high waters or anything close to them!
Now I'm still long, but I've filled out a little bit and jeans are just as difficult to find. American Eagle has a lot of cute styles which look good on my friends, so I talk myslef into getting them. Even if they fit okay at first, which a lot of times they do, right after a wash them the first time, they never fit remotely the same again.
They material gets stiff, they shrink (even though they are supposed to be pre-shrunk) and I don't fit in them any more. It's one of those things that you are happy with and then couldn't be more dissapointed in.

That's terrible when a good pair of jeans changes completely after washing, especially when it is said to be pre-washed (pre-shrunk). For some reason, cheaper brands usually do not do this, at least in my experience.
Jeans and t-shirts are so comfy to wear , but sorry that your jeans are not as good as its first look.
I understand what you mean-I always had problems finding jeans because my legs are so long-I now shop on QVC & HSN because some of the brands that they have cater to talls & petite sizes
