Prell Shampoo
By vsimeone onI have been using Prell shampoo for over 20 years.I have tried many other products, especially if I have a great coupon for something, but I always go back to Prell.I visit a mid to high end hair salon to have my hair done.I have been seeing the same stylist for just about 20 years. When I first started going to her, she tried to sell me some high end shampoos - some of which were more than $25 a bottle!I was VERY poor at the time and could hardly afford to pay her to do my hair let alone buy those expensive shampoos! She told me that it was really okay because my hair was in good shape and she asked me what I was currently using. When I told her it was Prell, I thought she would faint dead away on the floor! She said that Prell has a reputation of being one of the worst products on the market and she couldn't believe that it hadn't damaged my hair!Every once in a while we still bring up the topic of shampoo when I am getting my hair done and my stylist and I both laught that I am STILL using Prell and that my hair is STILL in good shape!

I'm not familiar with this product, but good too know that it is good and it working great for you, thanks for sharing,
Prell has been around a long, long time. Anything that has been around for so long must be good!
I used to use Prell all the time. It is an old fashioned deep cleansing shampoo that for oily hair is truly excellent. But if you have dry coarse hair it just strips it of oils completely.
I always used Prell when I was younger. Not sure why I switched. Maybe as froggy says above, it was for oily hair. Mine sure was thick and oily then! I can even smell it in memory as I am writing this.
Odd I have never heard of prell being bad for the hair. I think it does a good job!.
I've heard that Prell is not good for your hair too. But I guess you are proof that you can't believe everything you hear :0)
Sounds like Prell has been working well for you over the years.
If you have been using it for 20 years, it must be very very good. Thanks for recommending this product
I remember commercials for Prell! I had no idea that it stripped hair so badly! Eek!
I have never liked the way my hair felt with Prell, but glad you found something that works well for you.
