Premiere Violin By Oliver Villegas on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is the first violin I practiced with. What I like about it is that it's small and light, it's got a good color and furnish, and the package comes for a relatively low price. It's a good violin to start with. It comes with the violin case, the bow, and the resin.
The downside is that it only has friction pegs since the design is classic, and no fine tune pegs to tune the violin. That is, it may be hard to tune the violin since the pegs are pretty stiff to turn. I had to oil the pegs a bit, and then it's not that easy to turn it either.
Overall, for the price I got it at, it's worth it since I was able to learn my first violin pieces on this violin. Buy this! I recommend the Premiere violin for starters.
