Prescriptions For Nutitional Healing By Brandy Norton on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
This book is by James F. Balch, M.D. and Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C. I have the second edition that has been revised and expanded. From front to back it has 600 pages. The book is about the A-Z reference to drug-free remedies using vitamins, minerals, herbs & food supplements.
I love this book. I have had it for 7 years now. My mother bought it back in 1998, when she found out my grandmother (Granny) had cirrhosis of the liver. I believe my granny got the disease from drinking streaight bleach at a resturant. Thats how they would clean the water tank and they forgot to let the bleach out and rinse it, before they opened. Thats something to remember, sip your water first, if your the first customers of the day.
Anyway, they gave her 3 months to live, after they found out she had the disease. My mother gave her an extra 1 1/2 years, by using this book along with others.
After Granny died, the book was given to me, because, I am one the millions in america who does not have insurance. This book has saved me alot of money. It has everything, from stress to strokes, from cancer to pregnancy. Their has been only once or twice that it did not have what I was looking for.
I think every house should have one.

I own this book and it IS AWESOME!!LOTS & LOTS of info in it! I have psoriasis & this book has a listing/break down of supplements that can help..I tried it and it REALLY REALLY helped!
What a very inspiring message. I'll check this book out in our local bookstore. I'm also a believer of natural remedies for diseases and healthy eating. "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure".
I have this book, too. My mother sent it to me. Unfortunately, I haven't read it.
