Reviewing: Maxell Photo Cd R Pro
Purchased at: Wal Mart     Price: $9.99 USD

My aunt has a huge amount of pictures including some of the only remaining pictures of my great grandparents. She wanted to make sure they would be around for future generations. I agreed to organize them and record them onto CD's.

We went to WalMart to look for a good photo CD to record the pictures on. We ended up choosing the Maxell Photo CD-R Pro. Maxell was a name I knew and trusted and they were a good price. I got 10 CDs in a package for $9.99.

These CD's are supposed to hold 700 MB of data or up to 2000 pictures. They are triple coated for scratch resistance. The only thing I don't really like about these CDs is the case. It is very thin and flimsy.

I have really enjoyed making these photo CDs even though it is a lot of work. It was relatively simple to do. I just scanned the photos into my computer and burn them to the CDs. The picture quality on these CDs is excellent. The photos appear very clear even the oldest ones.

If you want to record your photos to preserve them I highly recommend these CDs. My aunt and I are both happy with the results.

I use these for my pictures after I play with the colorations. I love them.
