Presto Microwave Popcorn Popper By Sito on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This microwave popper by Presto is endorsed by Orville Reddenbacher. In my opinion, this popcorn popper is just okay. How it works is you have a large, bowl like popper with a vented lid. You have to buy these extra paper filter type things. This is where you put the popcorn and oil. These sit in the bottom of the popper. From there you put the popper in your microwave. According to the directions, you can pop with or without oil, but I have found that if you don't use oil, you don't get very good results. Also, when you do use the oil, I have found that the Orville Reddenbacher popcorn oil works the best. This popcorn can be good. You just have to get used to the oil to corn ratio and the amount of time to pop in your microwave. I originally bought it thinking I could save calories and fat, but since you still have to use the oil, that is not really the case. If you don't mind the extra fat of the oil, then this popper is a good choice.
