I recently purchased this product after switching my daughter to powdered formula. It is sometimes hard to get all of the lumps out of the formula so I thought this would be a great product to have to make sure the formula is always mixed properly.

First of all it is at a great price. It is also a very simple design and not bulky. It is great for a diaper bag. It takes 2 AA batteries. The first time we used the mixer we left it on a little too long and the milk pretty much turned into foam. I became immediately worried that this product would be horrible for my daughter because she already has terrible gas. We definitely did not want something to make that worse.

After some practice we figured out that if you barely turn the mixer on you can control the speed a little better. Plus we only use it for a few seconds at a time. Now it takes longer to make sure the formula is mixed and we still have to shake it up some. So as long as it is like that, I'm not sure how useful the product is. It really takes some getting used to.

I still think it is easier to use the mixer than to just shake up the bottle. Without the worries of bubbles the product is perfect! It is easy to clean and very soft at the ends. The downfall of that is that you have to be careful when traveling with it because the ends can break.
