Anyone with a new baby knows how exciting it is when your child can sit up on his or her own, but not only is it exciting, it is so convientient! Suddenly the baby can play alone for longer periods of time while you get other things done around the house, and they are more than entertained by their new veiw point in the world! This infant seat is perfect for a child who is strong enough to hold up their head, but not yet able to sit on their own. It supports and cradles the infant nicely, and is perfect shape for a baby's body. It is made from a soft foam-like material, which is comfortable for baby, and it is very sturdy. I have seen many different infant seats in the store, but none are as lightweight, comfortable, and as good of quality as the Prince Lionheart bebePOD. I used it with my daughter while traveling to serve as a highchair, bath seat, and general "play chair". I also have taken it with me to reasturants and I can sit her right next to me in the booth. That is way better than bringing in the whole bulky car seat!
