Pro Makeup Brushes For Less By Rachel Dellaposta on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I heard about these brushes from my cousin when she wanted to take modeling classes. The classes suggested these brushes for use in place of professional brushes. I must say, they are much, much more affordable than professional brushes! I went to Sephora and they wanted me to buy 3 brushes for $60! That is 3 times the price for half the amount of brushes! I thought that that was insane so I went to check out these Sonia Kurchik brushes at Target. I got 6 brushes in a nifty little case for around $20. They are good brushes, too. So far, none of the bristles have fallen out or went crazy like they do in cheap brushes. They really do help when applying makeup, too. You get a lot more eyeshadow on the brush with them and the shadow goes on very smooth. The concealer brush is nice. So is the blush brush. I dont really use the other brushes, but they might come in handy if I decided to put on more makeup. Since I dont typically wear a lot of makeup, I only use the basic brushes.

The design of the brush is nice. They dont look or feel cheap. They also come in a handy little case. I really like the case. It is especially nice for traveling. I never used brushes before getting these, but they really do make a difference in the way my makeup looks on my face!
