Pro Pet Senior Daily Vitamin Time Release By yorb24 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased these Pro Pet Senior Daily Vitamins at my local Walmart for just under $5.00 excluding tax. The bottle was 8 oz. and it contained 100 chewable tablets for your dog. It listed time release on the bottle which means that it will slowly release the vitamins into your pet's system in order for it to be balanced. It contained vitamins such as calcium, vitamin D3 and phosphorous. It listed that dogs that were 11 to 50 lbs were to (my dogs were within that weight range) take one tablet a day.

I bought these vitamins for both of my dogs. For my older dog, I had to crumble up the vitamin and put it in her dog food which sometimes was a challenge because if she detected it, she would immediately stop eating. It seemed she did not like these vitamins. I eventually switched her to raw food which is completely balanced so she no longer takes these vitamins anymore. My younger dog though, to my surprise, ate his first tablet immediately. I broke it up for him and he loved it. He now looks forward to having it everyday and would eat more if he could. He has had a lot of energy and seems to be doing well on these vitamins. I rate this product a 4 since I had a problem with my older dog otherwise I do recommend this product. I will be purchasing this in the future.
