A very powerful and very well built fan. I tend to like to use fans instead of air conditioning because of the high cost of electricity these days. I wanted one that was powerful and that I could use on the floor and also perhaps fit in the window. This one just barely fits in the window as measurement shows it to be 19 inches across it's round structure. I have to take my hat off to the Pro Standard company on this one as it certainly is powerful,heavy duty and solid. I like items that are well built and last. It has 3 speeds and generates plenty of air at all speeds. The switch to change speeds is one thing I could take issue with as that is the only thing that could have been made better. The fan was made in 2002 so its about 5 years old. It is not a quiet fan either. It does make a good amount of noise on the high speed setting but it does not bother me at all. I mention it because for some it might be annoying. Overall though a nice piece of equipment for a hot summer day.

Good fan there except for the noise, it seems that most fan produces noise after some years of usage.
I really like this fan, but it is noisy! I use it in the upstairs hall, it gets extremely hot up there, and it does a great job keeping all the rooms cool and breathable!
