Proactiv
By cukal6 onI started using Proactiv about a year ago. I was so frustrated with trying other products and nothing working. So, I heard their ad on the radio and called about their free 30 day trial.Within a week my face had cleared up and I haven't had any breakouts since!
I use the 3 piece set which includes the cleanser, toner, and repairing lotion. The cleanser has a gritty feel to it so it really fells like you're getting your face clean. The toner gets put on with a cotton ball and gives you that really clean, fresh feeling. The repairing lotion is the secret. You put it on just like a moisturizer and it clears up the acne and helps prevent any future breakouts.
I pay $40 for a set and you're supposed to use it twice a day but I found that was too harsh for my skin.So I only use it before I go to bed and each set lasts me about 4 months. Not too bad!
I have recommended this product to many people including my mother who now uses it every day.

Anything that works to get rid of those breakouts! Thanks for sharing.
I've been wondering how well this worked as my teen has been driving me nuts wanting it. I am curious what the main active ingrediant is...my daughter has allergic reactions to benzoyal peroxide, so we have to be careful.
Glad that this product worked for you. Thanks for sharing.
I always wondered how well this worked. thanks for sharing your experience!
My niece swears by this. Thanks for the info, going to pass this along to my daughter.
You must be so happy to have found an effective product like ProActive.
I've tried this product and it burned my face. I think it was because I didn't have really bad acne and I have dry skin, I think it was just too strong for me but I have heard that others really love it.
Look like it is a real good product there, thanks for the recommendation.
The active ingredient is sulfur. while Proactive works for many people, there are others that found it has a reverse effect after a month of use. It is tremendously drying, so it really only works best on the truly sebaceous/oily type acnes.
I'm so glad you're having great success with this!
