Proactive

I have tried using proactive for about 3 years and it has ruined my skin. This is not a good product for most people and I would advise anyone to try something else. When I first got Proactive, it worked. I was very pleased for about 3 months. Then my acne came back worse than ever. I tried using it for the next few years but it didn't work any better than it had been and my skin was extremely dry after washing my face and within an hour extremely oily. I went to a dermatologist and she explained that proactive works by using harsh ingredients to dry out blemishes. That it disrupts your normal PH balance in your skin. After a long time of use it takes time for your skin to heal and go back to normal. So as it did for me, you may have results when you first start to use Proactive but sadly they don't last
