Proactive Fads And Facts By morrandricky on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Proactive is a very well known product used by many famous people such as jessica simpson and p.diddy. Because of the fact that these people are doing these commercials and advertisements, we tend to want to use or purchase the product. It's not after you try the product for yourself that you will clearly realize if these are just fads or facts. I tried proactive 3 times in my lifetime and I gave up because I said 3 strikes, you're out. I even tried the sensitive one that they have. Neither one made my face clear up as they described so I am not happy at all with these proactive advertisements at all because it's very misleading. Proactive is probably good for some people but not for all. This should be specified and clearly projected and they should not use celebrities to advertise for the simple fact that people want to be like them thinking proactive is going to make their face clear like theirs, when in fact, their faces are full of make-up products and full of acne underneath.
proactive guthy-renker

I had this same problem. It is for minor cases of having one or two pimples. The funny thing is, people keep purchasing this terrible product. Even the spokespersons for proactive don't use the products to remove unwanted acne. Jessica Simpson was asked once by a paparazzi how she got such clear skin and stated her dermatologist gave her a nice little pill. And this was after she was supposed to be "cured" by the miracle proactive!
I too faced the same problem.Ice and Egg white sited me best then anything else hyped by any commercial.
For the life of me I can not do the full treatment twice a day but the few times I have for over a month my blackheads are still there. And they swear up-and-down that they are suppose to disappear within two weeks. I only use it now because a neighbour gave me 3 bottles of the cleanser that you use before toners. Not worth the money for me. Thanks for spreading the word on!
I agree with you. I also believe that Proactive advertisements are misleading. The faces of the celebrities are all full of make-up so as not to notice their flaws. It would be much better and honest if they will show the "after" faces of their endorsers without make-up to see the effect that the product had on their skin. That would be more believable.
