Pro Air Hfa By Stephanie Mas on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband suffers from Asthma and has to use an inhaler. He used to use the generic Albuteral until they took it off of the market about 20 months ago. In my opinion, the Albuteral help his attacks better than any brand he had ever tried before. With some of the others he would get the shakes and because he is also diabetic it seemed to make his sugar levels high too. Weird....

Last year, his doctor prescribed the gerneric for ProAir HFA called Albuteral HFA. In my opinion, this is a wonderful inhaler. When he uses he des not get the shakes and it helps keep his attack under control. Its not too expensive and is covered by the insurance company which means he only has to pay his normal copay.

The inhaler does come in a normal pocket inhaler and does require a prescription from your doctor. I would reccomend this to anyone who has asmtha as I feel it has saved my husband's life on many occasions.
