This is the Proctor-Silex 2 slice toaster. This is definately not a top of the line appliance but it gets the job done. This was purchased at Dollar General and the cost was $9.00. The effectiveness of this toaster leaves you alittle disappointed as I have had to retoast items when they did not seem to be toasted enough. The cleaning capability is simple by turning the toaster over to find a small slide plate on the bottom to empty crumbs. So far I have owned this for 1 1/2 years and it is still working.This plugs in to any standard plug and is 120 volts.The exterior white finish is easy to wipe clean. The toaster has the push down button to lower toast on the side and there is also a darkness knob that is fairly difficult to decifer.To retrieve toast early, you can unplug the plug and toast pops up.If you need a cheap appliance, then I would definately recommend this one to get by on till you can afford better.
