Proctor Silex Ultra Ease Iron By Willow on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I like my ironing quick and easy, and this Ultra-Ease iron by Proctor Silex helps to keep it that way. This iron is lightweight, with a cord long enough to freely move it around as I work. It heats up fast, which I especially appreciate when I need to iron a cloth item quickly. This is a steam iron, but I do not use the steam feature very often.

The iron has 7 different settings for different kinds of fabric and a chart on its base that tells you what setting you need to choose for cotton, wool, etc. For safety, the iron has the automatic shut-off feature that will turn it off after one hour of work. The shut-off works whether you are using the iron or not, so if you are having a long ironing session it can turn off on you right in the middle. This can be inconvenient, but I rarely have large loads of ironing, so it does not bother me too much.

Overall, I find Ultra-Ease a good, reliable, and easy to use iron.

Fabulous price! I don't iron often so wouldn't want to spend much money on an iron!
