ProForm 400 GL Treadmill
By karlawmcdonald onWe purchased this treadmill on sale at Sears after I had back surgery so I could get my walking in on smoother surfaces than outdoors. It is a powerful but space saving piece of equipment. It has a 17" by 50" belt with a 10% power incline. It also has preprogrammed walks that includes different speeds , inclines and declines. It also came with a 3 year warranty on the motor and 90 day on parts and labour . It also features a space-saving design for easy storage and is iFIT interactive personal training compatible .It also monitors your heart rate, calories burned, fat calories burned ,time and distance walked. It also has an emergency kill switch that you attach to yourself in case you trip or fall, the treadmill cuts off so you do not further risk injury by moving parts. Over all it is one of the best treadmills I have ever been on, now if I can just motivate myself to start walking on it again.

We're in the market for a treadmill...thanks for the info! We haven't checked Sears yet.
What they really need is a treadmill that has the feature of also doing the walking for you. I'm still looking for one of these. ;-) But short of that, this one sounds pretty good. The motivation part is definitely the hard part.
Great, I'm currently looking to purchase a treadmill, so this info comes in handy!
I love my treadmill too when I can motivate myself to get on it,LOL
I have a treadmill at my house that I rarely use. It's a pain in the butt to fold and unfold it and it takes up too much space. i have better luck walking ont hem at the gym!
Had a similiar treadmill and it was very good for people who need those smooth surfaces.
Sounds like a great piece of equipment! Nicely written.
Sounds like some great features to this machine, glad it worked for you.
