Project Gotham Racing 4

PGR4 or to the average consumer Project Gotham Racing 4.The long awaited supposed final release of the much lauded series.It brings alot of cards to the table with new features, notably Motorcycles, weather system, and a racing season.It departs from its standard level of difficulty races and moves towards a more Gran Turismo circuit based driving level season.There are 4 classes in all.The classes are composed by a unique ranking system that other AI computers are all competing on as well.Your goal is to attain rank #1 by not only winning events but by showing off your superior driver technique.This is what seperates PGR4 from the rest of the crowd.Driving to win races is still important, but in the single car events other factors such as your kudos score are more important then speed alone.Kudos is awarded for drifts, tight corners, clean driving, and hitting speeds over 170 mph.It makes the game fun in a Tony Hawk kind of way, stringing together driving moves while navigating the course in order to get a higher score.The online is the same as the previous iterations.Up to 8 players with all of the single player options available online.I reccomend this game to the casual/hardcore racing fan.I would rent it first.Or if you still have cold feet pick up PGR3.It offers much of the same just minus the motorcycles and snowy roads for 30 dollars less.
