Protect Your Eyes with Metaliks
By Darrylmcd onI am required to wear OSHA approved safety glasses at my job, they are required to have a Z87 certification. I found the Metaliks brand safety glasses at our local Wal-Mart for less than $10.00. They had several frame colors to chose from and the lenses came in clear, tinted and mirrored. The main feature I like about this brand is that the legs are padded and adjustable. There is nothing worse in my opinion than an uncomfortable pair of safety glasses. These do not sit directly against the face but are angled just enough to prevent anything from flying into your eyes. The ones that my job provides for us sits directly on the face causing the lenses to fog up, impairing our vision which is more dangerous than not wearing a pair so I was really grateful to find these.

This is great information! I have a very small head, and have on more than one occasion convinced employers that its not safe to wear safety glasses that keep falling off your face while you are working even with a strap because they are just too doggone BIG. The adjustable legs sounds like someone finally got wise.a
