Protect Your Noggin With Raider Mx2 By Maliki2 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I went looking for a helmet for my ATV. I own a Honda TRX-300EX. My old helmet had seen better days, and I needed something new. So I started to reseach online, and found a model I liked at the Cabella's online store.

The first thing I noticed was the cost of $69.99. It doesn't break the bank which is usually the number one thing I look for, without having to sacrifice safety. This is a full face model, so you don't have to worry about bugs, dirt, dust or anything bothering you completely. I prefer full face models, even though you do get dirty this will keep alot more off you than a non faced helmet. The helmet is very light weight which is another plus, I don't like the feel of taking off a helmet and it felt like I wore a 100 lb brick. This puts less strain on your neck.

Safety is a plus as well, and like most helmets sold, this is DOT certified, so you know your noggin will be protected in case of that fall, or accident. For those wishing to wear goggles, there is a non slip goggle strap on the helmet as well.

I would recommend this helmet to anyone riding a ATV. The features and multiple sizes available and the good price point help in everyway!

I have a 1950cc Honda Spyder 2495 and messed myself up a few years ago by hitting a tree! Shouldn't have taken that jump in my condition, and wish i had this helmet!

This sounds like a safe product and a great price! Cabela's is a great store for finding just about anything having to do with sporting goods!

I don't know much about these things but I have been on a motorcycles before and had to deal with the bug issue like you mentioned. Next time a full face model sounds like it's for me.

I like the word " Noggin" LOL. Helments are very expensive but safety is imparitive.

What a sharp looking helmet!! It looks so futuristic & light but also protects the head which is the most important thing!!

Does the full face model make you hot & sweaty. I ride with my dad sometimes and I hate taking a helmet off and feeling like I just took a shower cause I'm so wet with sweat. The other features sound great though and the price isn't too bad.

Thanks for the information. We are looking for a lighter helmet for our ATV. And it doesn't hurt that it's a pretty reasonable price.
