I ordered a laptop bag for my new computer. When it arrived, I was so excited to open the box and try it out. It was a disney laptop bag. I had it monogrammed with my name and a picture of Tinkerbell. I was impressed with the quality of the laptop bag, but once I unzipped the compartment where the laptop would go, I was disappointed. There really wasn't much protection for the computer. It was more like a messenger bag than a cushioned case.
So I set out for Circut City because I remembered seeing this really cute neoprene sleeve when I had been in the store the week before. I was drawn by the hot pink color amongst all the black cases. I didn't consider buying it then, since I wanted a case with a handle and shoulder strap. The pink one was only a sleeve.
But now, this was exactly what I needed to make my Tinkerbell case perfect. I needed some extra cushion to protect my computer. It says it fits up to a 15.4" notebook. Great! Mine is exactly that size! Best thing of all is that it's pink! You know the Tink loves Pink !!! So I purchased it and took it home.
I couldn't resist touching it over and over. Even the package begs you to "touch here"! It is so smooth and soft. It is made of neoprene and that means it's not only strong, but also water resistant. I ran inside the house, okay I didn't run but I did walk rather fast. Yippee! It fit perfectly inside my Tink case. Once I had the sleeve inside the case, I took my laptop and surrounded it with this heavenly pink cushion. Nice!
The only negative aspect of this sleeve is that it is a bit too big. I figured by the wording on the package that it would be a perfect fit for my 15.4" laptop, with no room for movement. But it has about 2 inches of space left from the top of the computer to the zipper. I had to fold it down so that I could zip the Tink case shut.
All in all, I love the beautiful pink color and I am happy that I don't have to worry about lack of protection for the laptop when I use my Tink case. You could also use this neoprene sleeve by itself to carry your laptop. But I don't think I will be doing that. I prefer to have a handle and this sleeve doesn't have one.
It will be great for traveling. I can easily slip this sleeve into my carry on bag. No need to drag a big computer bag around on vacation. Save that room for souvenirs!

Good idea to use it as padding! I bet this would be good for college students who take their laptop to class.

This sounds like a great product and the perfect solution to your dilemna. I'm glad you found something to make the Tinkerbell bag work! It is cute and functional.
This is an awesome looking sleeve for a laptop. I would prefer that it be in a different color than hot pink. I would really love it to be black! This would be a great protective sleeve for traveling and very easy to take out when going through the security lines and xrays :)

I have one just like this, my sister gave it to me! LOL I put my laptop in it and put the whole thing in my other heavier case for when we travel..dopuble protection )

This would be perfect for me. I have a REALLY big purse that would easily carry a laptop, but it has no padding. I could use one of these sleeves. I wonder if it comes in lime green. My purse is black with lime green lining. Thanks for this information, Tink. It will definitely be helpful to me in the future.
