Ps3 Air Flo Cooler By Lindy Smith on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After investing nearly 700 dollars for my PS3, I began to read some reviews of people's consoles overheating. Wanting to avoid this unpleasant turn of events for my system, I went to my local game shop to purchase a separate cooler. I chose the Pelican brand for two reasons. The first reason was that it has it's own power supply. Most of the other brands use USB connections to draw power from the system. I liked that I wouldn't be sapping power from my PS3 to cool it. The other reason was the design of it. It matches the trim of my PS3 and looks like an extension of the system itself and not just another accessory. The fan is very quiet and has a thermal controller so you don't have to worry about shutting it off. I leave it on all the time and it shuts itself off when the PS3 has cooled. I'm very happy with my purchase and no longer worry about my PS3 frying itself. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in preserving and extending the life of their gaming system.

This sounds like a must have accessory to have if you have a PS3.

Smart buy Darth. It's relatively inexpensive and fits the console beautifully. For someone who games alot, this would be a must.
