I picked up these PS3 component cables because the ones I had ended up getting lost when I was travelling. These are pretty good, and pretty similar to any other PS3 component cables I'd assume. I was really wanting to make the jump to HDMI, but when I was shopping around, I noticed that HDMI cables, and especially PS3 HDMI cables are really just way out there in price still. The one I saw for the PS3 was $75. three times the price of this. Somehow I don't think the picture is going to be three times as good.

But, I guess if I were going to be watching a lot of blu-ray movies on my PS3, maybe I'd invest in the HDMI cable, but then again I'm not a big blu-ray movie buyer, some are, and if you're one of those people, maybe the HDMI cable is for you. I'd suggest getting an eye to eye comparison in a store or at a friends house to check out the picture difference for yourself, because the price difference is certainly there.

For all other intents and purposes in regards to HD coming out of your PS3, this $25 component cable set will do just fine.
