Psp: It's Got Ridgeracer... Ridgeracer! By JayZ on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The PSP was to be a thing of the future. Sony was going to blow our socks straight off with their new movie- playing, MP3-blasting, picture-holding, handheld gaming system. And it certainly looked the part; the thing is beautiful. Its sleek, black casing, innovative analog stick, massive screen all give it a persona of technological perfection. Sadly, looking pretty is all the PSP is good for. As a handheld system, the PSP fails miserably; its battery life renders it completely incapable of being even remotely fun. Want to watch a movie? Good luck reaching the end without the battery dying. How about a game? Be sure to save often. As far as playing music goes, why not buy something that can hold more than a couple of songs. You're far better off going with the cheaper Nintendo DS or even saving the whopping $250.
