Puerto R Ico Boardgame By cybeeb on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Puerto Rico is a boardgame for three to five players. It takes about ninety minutes to play a game. In this game you pick a different role every round. You can be the governor, prospector, settler , trader, etc. Corn, Indigo, Coffee, Sugar and Tobacco are the crops you raise. You build buildings and store your goods till you are ready to ship them. You get so many settlers every turn and have to strategically place them to your advantage. This is a very fun game. It did take a while to completely understand. But once you do you will enjoy playing it over and over. I always look for a game that is unusual and not available in common stores. Puerto Rico is the boardgame version of San Juan. It is very similiar to San Juan but much more in depth. Puerto Rico is a game that is never the same no matter how many times you play it. We did find rules online for two players also.
