Punch Up Your Lip Color With Stila Lip Glaze By Laurel1 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I don't usually pay $20 for a lip gloss, but Stila made me a convert with their Lip Glaze. The new improved Stila Lip Glaze comes in a larger container than the old one, so you get more product for the same cost. It has a built-in lip brush, which means you get easy application, with no worry about getting that "playing with Mom's Lipstick" look. Just turn the bottom of the "pen" container, and more gloss goes into the tip.

I gave this a 5 on "fragrance Free" because I had to leave something there. In fact, Stila Lip Glaze is scented, with the flavor of the name. So the pearly nude Vanilla really does smell and taste like real vanilla, and the Black Cherry is black cherry, and so on. You have a huge range of colors -- or should I say flavors -- to choose from, about 21 at last count. My first choice was the limited edition Raisin, which tastes more like a not-too-sweet grape juice than raisin, to me at least. The color is a deep berry that goes on sheer, but not pale! The color in Stila Lip Glaze really pops.

I also love the texture. Stila Lip Glaze isn't too tacky, like some glosses, nor is it gluey. It goes on smooth, and stays on longer than most lip glosses do. I love this product, though I'd own a lot more if the price were $10. But you do get what you pay for, and Stila Lip Glaze is worth the price.
