I love having filtered water at my finger tips.
We have been using the Pur Water Filter system for years. I recently bought a replacement filter for our new house. I purchased the Pur 3 Stage Verticle Filtration System in Chrome. I was excited about it's sleek look.
The filter works. You have to change it about every two months. I was happy with the quality of the water and the ease of the Filtration Unit. You simply turn the filtration unit to a verticle position to filter water and turn the filter in a horizontal position to turn it off.
The actual filteration unit had some issues. The portion of the Pur Filtration Unit that connect to my actual faucet spout broke after four months. We had to purchase another unit for our house. The unit is affordably priced, but you would think it would loast longer then four months?

I would hope it would last longer than 4 months, did you try to contact the manufacturer?
I think I've seen this unit at someone's house. It is very handy how you turn it off and on.
