Purell Instant Hand Sanitizer By Cindy Leggett on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am the proud owner of a houseful of pets. I have a dog, MANY cats, a parakeet, two cockatiels, and a 100 gallon aquarium full of fish. As you can imagine, having this many animals means that I am touching or handling one or more of them (well, I don't handle the fish!) throughout the day. I used to be a compulsive hand-washer because of this, as I am the "chief cook and bottle washer" in my household, and also help care for my mother, a cancer victim who recently completed chemotherapy. Chemo can lower a person's resistance to sickness, so I always made sure my hands were clean. I estimate I was probably washing my hands twenty or more times a day!

Purell Instant Hand Sanitizer has saved me so much time, and probably a little bit of my sanity as well! It is advertised as killing 99.99% of the germs that can make you sick, and is hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested. It comes in an 8 ounce pump bottle, and one pump is enough to sanitize your hands without having to use soap, water, or towels. It leaves your hands feeling very soft as it contains Aloe and Vitamin E. I really like this product, and would recommend it to anyone who is concerned with germs.
