Purina Chew Eez Carvers By Phoebe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Chew-eez Carvers are a jerky-type treat for dogs (though my cats love them too!). They are in a chicken-breast shape, and come in a few flavors, such as Chicken and Beef.

Al in all, they are not bad treats, but I have noticed that because they are a softer jerky, it gets stuck on my dog's teeth often.

They are made with real chicken, and chicken is the first ingredient on the list. They seem to be a slightly healthier treat because of that, with 38% being Crude protein, and only 4% crude fat.

The consistancy of the treat (the sticking to the teeth bit), however, is what makes me rate these at a 4 and not a 5. It is almost too hard for my dog to eat, he spends as much time eating it as he does trying to pull it off his teeth.

They are a little longer lasting than normal soft treats, so if you want a dog treat that your dog will be working for, this may be right for you!
