Puzzle O' Trucks

My son loves trucks and tractors, so when I saw this puzzle I knew it would be perfect. This Melissa & Doug puzzle is made of wood painted to suit typical locations you'd find the puzzle pieces. This puzzle has `9 pieces that make up a train, pane, bus, ship, sailboat, fire truck and a police car. Each piece is thick enough to stand on it's own, which allows toddlers to play with them on their own, or as puzzle pieces.

The puzzle board has pictures painted on of each piece. Each piece fits into a cutout area to help kids not only identify shapes, but it also helps teach them about backwards and upside down. For most 2 year olds, the puzzle should not be too hard, and yet will probably be hard enough so that they want to play with it more than one time. Children younger than 2 may have a harder time completing the puzzle on their own, but this will only help them to learn shapes, sizes, etc.

I highly recommend this puzzle, as well as any other Melissa & Doug puzzles. My son has several and they have all been great quality and great fun for him!
